IRTHI CONTEMPORARY CRAFTS COUNCIL

Irthi Contemporary Crafts Council is a platform that is part of the Sharjah Business Women’s Council. It is established to bring together various individuals that are involved in ethical practices and the creation of lifestyle goods in the MENA region.

Taking part in Collect 2017, Irthi showcased three Emirati designers. The exhibit took inspiration from sunset views found throughout the UAE. A gradient element was used as the main visual tool. It is incorporated through the whole environment and the visitor journey encouraged the public to float through the space. The exhibition displays offered an unexpected layout with natural and earthy touches. The main feature was a brochure displayed on the wall, where guests could tear off pieces of the exhibit to take away with them.
